I'm a graduate student in algebraic topology, my advisor is professor Mark Hovey.

My B.S degree in Applied Mathematics is from Damghan University of Fundamental Sciences in Iran. I received my M.Sc. degree in mathematics from University of Tehran in 2005.

Research interests

My research interests lie mainly in the field of algebraic topology and its applications in mathematical physics. I'm currently working on twisted K-theory and its connections to string theory in physics.

Teaching

• Currently I'm teaching, Math 121, Calculus I.
• I taught Math 118, Introductory Calculus, in the spring of 2008.
• I have helped run the math workshop at Wesleyan for three semesters and have TA'd many classes in different subjects including number theory, probability, and statistics.
